Exploring the Fun World of Hot Springs in Our “Animal Hot Springs” Storybook!

In our themed lesson “Animal Hot Springs,” the children explored the fascinating world of hot springs. Although we cannot take them to a hot spring area for a real experience, our teachers designed a sensory exploration activity that integrates the children’s life experiences. We prepared transparent containers filled with warm water, cold water, ice water, and hot water, allowing the children to observe and feel the changes in water temperature through their sense of sight and touch. The children carefully reached out to touch the water, experiencing the different sensations brought by the varying temperatures. Some gasped in surprise, while others laughed joyfully; each expression was genuine and adorable. Through this simple yet engaging little game, the children not only gained a better understanding of the concept of hot springs but also enhanced their sensory exploration and expression skills, making learning full of surprises and joy.
