This week, our little ones in the Moon Class have accumulated many precious learning experiences through hands-on activities and the guidance of their teachers. Let’s take a look at their moments of growth! ✨
🥄 I Can Use a Spoon to Eat
During mealtime, teachers guided the children to practice using a spoon on their own. From trying to grip the spoon, scooping food, to bringing it to their mouths, each child was willing to give it a try, gradually developing their self-care skills through repeated practice.
🧴 Shaking and Exploring Sensory Bottles
In this activity, the children shook and turned sensory bottles, focusing on observing the changes in colors and objects inside while listening to the sounds. This stimulated their visual and auditory senses, showcasing their abundant curiosity.
👏 Happy Clapping Song
Following the rhythm of the music, the children clapped their hands and moved their bodies. Some imitated the teacher’s actions, while others swayed naturally to the music. In this joyful atmosphere, they practiced their body coordination and imitation skills.
🖼️ Matching Everyday Item Cards
Teachers introduced everyday items like spoons, water bottles, and bowls, guiding the children to observe the actual objects and match them with the cards. The children carefully picked up the items to compare with the cards, cultivating their cognitive abilities and focus.
🎳 Bowling Activity
The children tried pushing or rolling the balls, and their faces lit up with surprise and happiness as they watched the balls knock down the pins. Through this game, they practiced hand-eye coordination and large muscle movements.
📏 Height and Weight Measurement
This week, we also measured the children’s height and weight. By regularly recording these measurements, we can understand each child’s growth and support them in growing up healthy and steadily.
👋 I Can Say Goodbye
Before the end of the activity, everyone sat together and waved their little hands to say goodbye. Under the teacher’s guidance, they learned simple social interactions, wrapping up this week’s activities with a warm conclusion.
