📢 March 2023 – Disaster Prevention and Earthquake Drill Promotion
Originally, the children were happily chatting in the classroom, but when the alarm for the drill sounded, they remained calm and immediately followed the three essential steps for earthquake safety: “Drop, Cover, and Hold On.” They then evacuated to a safe location in a calm and orderly manner, following their teacher. 👏
At school, we are also incorporating disaster prevention knowledge into the children’s daily lives through videos, teaching them how to protect themselves while understanding the importance of staying calm in the face of emergencies. Simple games are also employed to help children engage in this learning experience.
Additionally, we have arranged a visit to the nearby Xikou Fire Station, where hands-on activities and experiences will help the children better understand how to evacuate and escape in case of emergencies, deepening their knowledge and application of disaster prevention and earthquake preparedness.
