During the mixing process, the teachers encouraged the kids from the sidelines, saying, “Great job! Keep it up!” The children also helped each other; although their movements were still a bit clumsy, their focus and effort were genuinely touching.
This was not just a baking activity, but also a rare learning opportunity. Throughout the process, the children practiced hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, while also learning to observe, wait, and cooperate.
Seeing the satisfied smiles on the children’s faces made me realize that this is the goal we have been striving for: to help children learn joyfully and grow in love.
